At Trails to Obedience, our aim is to provide real solutions to the most common challenges that pet owners face. Through expert behavioral coaching and applying kind, approachable, and humane principles, we are here to help you alleviate unwanted owner stress.

My background with dogs has been for about as long as I have been alive. I grew up with dogs, and held them in my heart as family for as long as I can remember. When younger, I had owned dogs that have had behavioral issues, and had to learn from professionals on how to live with those dogs. I have years of experience working with dogs that had behavioral issues of one kind or another. Whether that was due to a lack of experience on my end when I first began my journey, or because of health problems that created new issues and behaviors I had to work through, both by myself, and with those that have been working with dogs longer than I have.

Professionally, I have the experience as a Police K9 Handler. With that experience, I have had a lot of trial and error learning how to train my partner to co-exist with my family. With my job, I have also grew a passion to work with dogs of any temperament. I believe that dog reactivity and aggression has an underlined reason, not because they are a mean or aggressive animal. My hope is to help you and your pet become a team and learn to co-exist as family regardless of the hardships or level of learning you have had thus far.
